Building company and real estate developer Plasim was founded 25 years ago (1984) by Avi and Miri Zalman, both who have civil engineering background qualifications, and who continue to head the company today. Plasim specializes primarily in residential construction, having built 4,000 housing units throughout Israel to date, including Ramat Hasharon, Rishon Lezion, Netanya, Gan Yavne, Ashkelon, Kfar Saba, Modiin and Shoham, etc.
Plasim is registered with the contractors registrar in Israel, and has an unrestricted building classification allowing it to operate as a real estate developer in residential construction, building of public and educational institutions, commercial structures, etc. Until the 1990's, Plasim operated as a building contractor, winning tenders to build structures for the Government of Israel, including the Defense Ministry, Health Ministry, Education Ministry, the Jewish Agency, etc. Since 1990, Plasim has operated as both a developer and building contractor.
Plasim is one of the leading contractors that built and continues to build the new city of Modiin, considered the most modern and well-planned city in Israel today. Plasim was the first real estate company to populate residents in buildings in Modiin. Until now, Plasim has built nine residential projects in Modiin with a total of 1300 housing units.
Plasim is viewed in the housing market as a reliable company with a sound financial backbone, and quick on its feet. It is company policy to offer the customer a finished product down to the last detail, and hence a very rich specification for the housing units it markets. With background in civil engineering , since 1975 in the profession, he is responsible for construction and business development including capital raising, participation in tenders, mobilizing land reserves for construction, supervision of construction, etc. He is also responsible for the engineering and operating team as well as the building team dealing with the handover of apartments to purchasers and applying the final touches.
VP Marketing Miri Zalman. With background in civil engineering ,since 1975 in the profession, she is responsible for the design aspects of the housing complexes and housing units including the supervision of the architects and designers, working with suppliers and recruiting designers who offer a contemporary style. In addition, she is also responsible for the marketing and sales team and for the advertising line.
